3D imaging provides better quality and more detailed images than traditional x-rays. This new technology is also less invasive and emits less radiation than traditional x-ray machines.
Our office has an onsite 3D printer to provide patients with more efficient and effective treatment. In addition to printing dentures in our office, the 3D printer can also create custom appliances for bruxism, sleep apnea, and TMD.
In addition to being much more comfortable for the patient, using the scanner allows us to be more efficient and accurate, which can result in a reduced number of visits to the office, saving the patient time.
CAD/CAM stands for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Milling (CAM). Cerec Omnicam 3D images can be uploaded into special CAD software, allowing the dentist to evaluate the exact details of the appearance and function of the restoration. This software can also help the patient to visualize the result of the proposed restoration.
Once the design is finalized, the files are sent to the CAM system for fabrication of the restoration to the exact specifications of the design. The use of CAD/CAM technology increases efficiency and accuracy and can often reduce the overall number of patient visits needed.
The Solea laser is the first dental laser qualified to treat both teeth and gums, whereas most other lasers can only be used on soft tissue. Its unique wavelength allows Dr. Park to utilize this laser for a variety of procedures including fillings, gum contouring, and canker-sore relief. With little to no noise and no drilling, most procedures can be performed without local anesthesia.
Digital x-rays reduce the amount of radiation needed as compared to film x-rays. The improved diagnostic capability of digital x-rays and the ability to view the x-rays on a computer screen allow the patient to better understand and follow treatment. Digital x-rays are instant, there is no longer a need to develop the film. Digital x-rays save time and increase patient care. It’s also a very green technology. By eliminating film, developer and chemical waste it is better for you and the environment!

This device is used to obtain the proper length of the root canal, from which the doctor can determine the position of the file relative to the apex of the root. This can help ensure that the canal is completely free of debris, reducing potential future complications.
Oral cancer affects thousands of Americans yearly. We use the latest technology to detect changes in oral tissue consistencies and/or lesions. A specialized light is shined into the mouth to detect unhealthy tissue. Healthy tissue looks lighter under the light while spots of bad tissue appear dark. With early detection, cancer may be caught before it has time to spread, potentially saving lives.
This technology can be used for periodontal (gum) and osseous (bone) surgery. They are gently and meticulously used to remove harmful bacteria without requiring invasive measures.
These monitors are found next to every patient chair. Patients can watch a movie or TV show on Youtube, Netflix, or Disney+. Patients can also view their dental radiographs when speaking to the doctor about the findings for a better understanding of their oral health.
